meno konkursai statusas T sritis Kūno kultūra ir sportas apibrėžtis Architektūros, tapybos, skulptūros, literatūros, muzikos kūrinių konkursai, organizuojami per olimpines žaidynes. Tikslas – atgaivinti, sutvirtinti meno ir sporto ryšį. TOK nutarė rengti meno konkursą 1906 m. P. de Kuberteno siūlymu. Meno konkursai vyko 1912–1948 m. Kūrinių, kuriems speciali vertinimo komisija skyrė 1–3 vietą, autoriai buvo apdovanojami olimpiniais medaliais. Pirmasis meno konkursas surengtas 1912 m. V olimpinėse žaidynėse Stokholme (Švedija). Konkursui buvo pateikti architektūros, tapybos, skulptūros, muzikos ir literatūros kūriniai, susiję su olimpiniu sąjūdžiu. Olimpiniai aukso medaliai buvo paskirti šveicarų architektams A. Mono ir A. Liaverjerui už projektą „Šiuolaikinio stadiono statybos planas“, italų kompozitoriui R. Bartelemi už „Olimpinį triumfo maršą“, italų dailininkui D. Pellegrini už drobę „Žiemos sportas“, JAV skulptoriui, 1908 m. olimpiniam šaudymo sporto čempionui W. Winansui už bronzinę skulptūrą „Keliauninkas iš Amerikos“. Už literatūros kūrinį aukso medalis atiteko „Odės sportui“ autoriams – prancūzui G. Hohrodui ir vokiečiui M. Eschbachui (abi pavardės – P. de Kuberteno slapyvardžiai). 1954 m. TOK sesijoje nuspręsta meno konkursus pakeisti meno kūrinių parodomis. atitikmenys: angl. art contests vok. Wettbewerb der Künste, m rus. конкурсы искусства
